1. Accepting Terms of Use
1. Important: By using our service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. You also agree to the representations made by you in the sections below. If you do not accept or agree to these terms of use for the service (as defined below), and wish to cease using the service, please immediately discontinue use of this website and service.
2. The terms and conditions outlined here (collectively, the “Terms of Use” or this “Agreement”) constitute a legal agreement between you and 247 City Cab. To use this Service (as defined below), you must agree to the Terms of Use set forth below. By accessing the websites provided by our company, and using any related services or features offered by 247 City Cab, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, including any future amendments, updates, or additions to these Terms of Use as published from time to time on the website.
3. We reserve the right to modify, alter, or update the Terms of Use or any policies related to the Service at any time. Any such modifications, alterations, or updates to the Terms of Use or related policies will take effect immediately upon posting the updated version on the website. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to periodically review the Terms of Use, as well as the Terms of Use applicable to any country where you use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes, whether or not you have reviewed them, will be considered as your consent and acceptance of those changes. Additionally, you agree that usage of the Service in any Alternate Country will be governed by the prevailing Terms of Use for that country, which can be accessed on the website.
2. Booking Terms and Conditions
Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process. Failure to do so may result in delays or the inability to fulfill the booking.
Cancellation Policy: No refund will be provided if the booking is canceled less than 8 hours before the scheduled trip. Cancellations made within this time frame will be subject to a full charge.
Airport Transfer Waiting Time: For airport transfers, a waiting time of 45 minutes is included after the flight’s arrival. Any additional waiting time beyond 45 minutes will incur a charge of £20 for every 20-minute interval.
Meet and Greet Service: A charge of £40 will apply for the meet and greet service at the airport, where our driver will assist you upon arrival.
Non-Airport Ride Waiting Time: For non-airport rides, the standard waiting time is 15 minutes from the scheduled pickup. If the passenger does not show up within this time frame, the ride will be considered canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Payment Terms: All payments must be made in advance through the available payment methods. Cash payments are not accepted for bookings.
Baby Seat Charge: A charge of £10 will be applied for the provision of a baby seat during the ride
3. User Representations and Warranties
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
You are legally entitled to accept and agree to the Terms of Use and are at least eighteen (18) years old. The Service is not available to persons under the age of eighteen (18) or to those who are prohibited for any reason from entering into a contractual relationship.
- You have the right, authority, and capacity to use the Service and comply with the Terms of Use.
- All information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
- Your use of the Service is for your own personal use only. You agree not to authorize others to use your identity or user status, and you will not assign or transfer your user account to any other individual or entity.
- You will comply with all applicable laws in the country, state, and city in which you use the Service.
Access and Compatibility
- You agree to access the Service only through authorized means.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you are using the correct and compatible software for accessing the Service on your web-enabled device.
- Scot Mini Cabs is not liable for any compatibility issues or if you use unauthorized software to access the Service.
- Scot Mini Cabs reserves the right to deny access to the Service if you use incompatible or unauthorized software or access the Service for purposes other than its intended use.
4. Prices and Payments
- Scot Mini Cabs uses a payment system that clearly displays the cost of the service ordered, and the price is non-negotiable. Drivers of Scot Mini Cabs reserve the right to charge an additional fee if there is an unexpected delay or a change in the destination from the details provided during the booking process. Only Scot Mini Cabs drivers are authorized to accept the quoted price for the service.
- You agree to make all reasonable efforts necessary to assist Scot Mini Cabs in claiming or verifying any input tax credit, rebate, set-off, or refund related to taxes paid or payable in connection with the Service provided under this Agreement, in compliance with applicable laws.
- All payments for the use of the Service are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified in these Terms of Use. In the event of a dispute with a driver or transportation provider, you agree to resolve the issue directly with the driver or transportation provider. Scot Mini Cabs will not be responsible or liable for any refunds, damages, or claims arising from such disputes.
- You acknowledge that Scot Mini Cabs may modify its prices at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes to the prices will be communicated to you through the website, and the changes will become effective immediately upon notification.
5. User Conduct
- You agree to use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms of Use. You shall not use the Service in any manner that could impair, disrupt, or damage its functionality, or interfere with any other party’s ability to use and enjoy the Service. You shall not engage in any activity that may constitute a criminal offense or lead to civil liability.
You agree not to misuse or abuse the Service, including, but not limited to, the following actions:
a) Using the Service for any unauthorized or illegal purposes.
b) Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service or the data it contains.
c) Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks.
d) Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code of the Software.
e) Using the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
f) Engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive activities.
g) Violating any applicable laws or regulations.247 City Cab reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms of Use or engaged in any prohibited conduct.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content and materials contained therein, is protected by intellectual property laws and belongs to 247 City Cab or its licensors. You acknowledge and agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights or licenses to the Service or any of its components.
You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Service or any part thereof without the prior written consent of 247 City Cab.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall 247 City Cab or its directors, officers, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
247 City Cab shall not be liable for any delay or failure to provide the Service due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, civil disturbances, labour disputes, or any other event of force majeure.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which 247 City Cab operates.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this agreement or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the arbitration authority designated in the jurisdiction in which 247 City Cab operates.
The language of the arbitration shall be English, and the arbitration award shall be final and binding on the parties.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed from these Terms of Use, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Please review these terms carefully. By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.
